Have breakfast at your hotel in Kigali. After breakfast, embark on a city tour in Kigali. Drive to the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwanda’s history, especially the tragic events of 1994. Enjoy visiting various areas of the city before returning to the lodge. After your tour here, drive back to the hotel for lunch.

After lunch, start your journey to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will be spending the next day of your 10 Days Great Migration and Primate Safari adventure. The drive from Kigali to Rwanda takes you through beautiful landscapes and natural beauty. You’ll drive to Cyanika Boarder post where you’ll complete your immigration procedures. Continue with your drive to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the late evening.

Upon arrival at Bwindi, drive to your booked safari lodge. Check in at the lodge. Dinner and overnight sty at the lodge.

Today you will enjoy the long-awaited mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Start your day with an early morning breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, head to the visitors center where you will join groups of other trekkers for a briefing session. After the briefing, grab your trekking stick and follow the lead of your ranger guide deep in the impenetrable forest to look for the mountain gorillas.

You’ll trek through the thick forest witnessing various species of birds, insects, and wildlife. After a long trek, you’ll finally locate the gorillas, your ranger guide will then guide you on how to approach these primates. Enjoy watching them feed, play, swing from one branch to another, and fully utilize your 60 minutes with these primates. Do not forget to take pictures and videos for memories of this classic encounter. After the trek, return to the visitors centre where you’ll be presented with a certificate of participation.

Return to your lodge for a refreshing meal and a short rest. In the evening, go for a thrilling cultural tour of the Batwa Community. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following an early morning breakfast, depart your lodge and start your journey to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. Arrive at Kigali City and enjoy lunch at a fancy restaurant. After lunch, transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Kenya.

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You’ll be received and welcomed to Kenya by our representatives in Kenya. Embark on a transfer to your booked hotel in Nairobi. You can go for an optional exploration of the Nairobi nightlife, our guide will be at hand to drive you to the venue of your choice.

Wake up and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel and transferred to the Masai Mara National Reserve for your next adventure on this 10-day Great Migration and Primate safari.

Arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch and proceed with a drive to your booked safari lodge. Arrive at the lodge and check in. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and spend the rest of your day at leisure, viewing the stunning sceneries of the surroundings.

For the more adventurous, you can embark on an evening game drive to see wildlife in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

For those who wish to witness the spectacular wildebeest migration, today offers the best opportunities. Wake up and have a delicious breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Follow the great migration trails to witness this natural spectacle unfold in the Masai Mara National Reserve. While tracking the migrating wildebeest and their entourage, you’ll also have great opportunities to witness various big cats that usually follow the migrating mammals in hopes of catching the weak ones for a meal.

Masai Mara National Reserve is also a renowned destination for African Big Five viewing, and while on your adventure today, expect to encounter prides of lions, leopards, rhinos, herds of buffalo, and elephants, among other wildlife species.  As it approaches lunchtime, your guide will pick a scenic spot where you can enjoy your picnic lunch. After lunch, continue with your adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following an early morning breakfast, you’ll check out of your lodge and embark on a transfer to Serengeti National Park. You’ll drive to the Isebania border, where you’ll finalise the immigration formalities and thereafter proceed with your drive to Tanzania. Our Tanzania team will transfer you to Serengeti Lodge, enjoying an en route game drive. Arrive at your lodge, check in.

Wake up before dawn and embark on an unforgettable sunrise game drive in the endless savannas of the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is renowned for its large number of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, hyenas, crocodiles, impalas, gazelle, warthogs and various antelope species. You’ll spend your day exploring various wildlife hotspots, witnessing the diverse wildlife and the stunning sceneries of the dramatic landscapes and vast savannas.

Serengeti is also home to the spectacular wildebeest migration. You’ll follow the migration trails in the park for opportunities to witness this natural wonder unfold. Later, after your adventure in the park, drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, check out, and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater via the beautiful high-lying farmland of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in Ngorongoro and descend into the crater floor for a wildlife-watching experience in Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife haven that is inhabited by various wildlife species, including the African Big Five animals.

Visit different wildlife hotspots within the crater floor for opportunities to view various species. As approaches lunchtime, your driver guide will pick a safe and scenic spot in the crater where you will have your picnic lunch. After lunch, continue with your exploration of the crater to witness more of its wildlife and stunning beauty. Later, after the adventure, ascend back to the crater rim and drive to your lodge. Check in at the lodge, enjoy dinner, and an overnight stay.
